The North Coast Cycling Association will sponsor a FREE family bike ride on Madeline Island with bike guides, vehicle support, and refreshments. This 7 mile bike ride (each way) will depart from the La Pointe ferry landing at 10:30 am, ride to the Town Park pavilion, and return to the ferry landing at 2:00 pm. North Coast Cycling Association has reserved the pavilion to enjoy a picnic. Our vehicle can carry your cooler and gear to the park. Backpack your towels, swimsuits, sunblock, water, and lunch. Showers and changing rooms are available on site. At the park there is a beautiful beach for swimming and sunbathing. Nearby hiking trails bordering the beach flow between the lake and the lagoon. Transportation to Madeline Island is not included and will need to be arranged separately. Please check the ferry schedule at www.madferry.com.
