Job Description
The Pub Restaurant & Wine Bar is now hiring a Dining Room/Bar Manager
 
Skills & Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a high customer turnover restaurant and bar.
  • Some management experience preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
  • A positive and ambitious mindset.
  • Excellent communications and customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
  • Review product quality and delivery daily
  • Schedule, organize and supervise shifts
  • Train new and current employees
  • Understand detailed PL reports and participate actively in increasing sales, lowering labor & product costs
  • Review weekly labor reports and submit to the business manager for payroll processing.
  • Weekly bar product ordering
  • Monthly inventory of bar product
Salary will be based on experience

The Pub restaurant is open April through October, with high season mid-June till mid-September. The manager will work 50+ hours in high season. This is the perfect job for someone who would love to work hard in the summer and travel the world in the winter. You will get unemployment compensation if you choose to do so. If you would love to work in the winter, there is potential employment in our other departments.
