If you're looking for something that has you moving in your seat as soon as the music starts, then look no further! Louisana native, Jeffery Broussard & his Cowboys create incredible music and outstanding performances with accordion mastery and soulful vocals of front man Jeffery Broussard. The band delivers great, pack-the-floor renditions of Creole classics as well as their own brand of contemporary Zydeco. Mr. Broussard & the Creole Cowboys also bring tunes from Cajun-style musicians to their distinctive and enjoyable performance.
While you're at Big Top Chautauqua, take part in our Native American Community Workshop: Birchbark Crafts from 2:00pm-4:00pm.
Stay for the 7:30pm Show: Shanties & Shipwrecks: Tickets $22 Adult, $11 (Age 4-17)
Come sail the Great Lakes and the Seven Seas with Big Top Chautauqua’s Blue Canvas Orchestra. Shanties & Shipwrecks draws on the bountiful collection of sea shanties, sailing songs and rowdy sailors-in-port songs that have come down through time from those that roamed the great waters aboard vessels of wood with canvas sails. Of course not all of the wayfaring men returned to dry land. See and hear their tales in song, story and big screen pictures. If you’re looking for a great adventure, a good time, rousing night of great music — climb aboard the big ship Chautauqua. Sea Shanties, work songs, voyageur tunes, drinking songs, ghost stories — come join the crew, you landlubber you.
