The Fourth of July is one Madeline Island’s favorite holidays and the traditional kick-off to the summer season. It has been described as one of the TOP 10 small town celebrations for the 4th in the entire country!

With so much  uncertainty remaining regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, the 4^th of July parade has been cancelled. Please know that we share your disappointment that the parade will not take place in 2021, public health remains at the heart of every decision we make.

Our spectacular fireworks show will light up the La Pointe skies at 10pm. As we come together as a community, we ask that you follow CDC guidelines regarding outdoor gatherings.

Please visit madferry.com for updated ferry schedules and last trips to the island/ mainland. There will be no special late boats scheduled on the 4th of July.

 The Madeline Island Chamber of Commerce hopes to celebrate in 2022  with a full-fledged community celebration!
