Event Description:
Ride the winds of time and have fun while you learn in this classic “illuminated musical history” of Bayfield and the Island Environs, with secrets of Red Cliff and Old LaPointe. Original music and song-stories tell the tales while the Big Screen shines with hundreds of then and now photos featuring Lightkeepers, Ojibwe Life, Dreamers & Schemers, Town Scenes, Voyageurs, Sailing, Fishing, The Big Flood and more. Created in 1985 by Warren Nelson and Betty Ferris (Nelson Ferris Concert Company), Riding the Wind was the first show performed on the Big Top Stage and is still a season highlight.
