The Shanghai Quartet, praised for having “A wonderfully ferocious and illuminating performance,” by The Washington Post, will be performing at the Clubhouse on Madeline Island as part of the Madeline Island Music Camp Chamber Music Festival. Their program will include Beethoven’s Op. 18, No. 5 in A Major; Verdi’s string quartet in E Minor; and Schubert’s virtuosic Quartet No. 14 in D Minor, “Death and the Maiden.” Tickets range from $25-$35, reserved seating, and can be purchased online at music-camp.org or by calling 715-747-2561.
