This watermedia workshop is for artists of all levels.

During this class you will develop your own personal painting style, while emphasizing the importance of developing your own creative approach to image making—with either abstract or representational imagery.  You will explore new methods of watermedia application, including texturing and techniques for building of layers of paint.  You will also experiment with new tools made from commonly found elements and materials.

Demonstrations by Mary Ann and individual discussions with her will help you approach your subject with a fresh eye toward composition and design.

Finally, throughout the workshop the business of being an artist, including setting goals and priorities will be discussed.  Each participant will discover how to become “inspired” and how to network as an artist. 

Each day’s schedule will allow for plenty of painting time.  This workshop is always lively, energetic and best of all fun filled!
